Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No, you do not need a referral from anyone to access services through Dixie and Thyme Counselling. All you need to do is head over to the ‘Contact Us’ tab and complete the form. Once this has been received, we will contact you to organise an appointment.
Can I use my Mental Health Care Plan?
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, you are able to access a Medicare rebate. However, it is important to note that not all of our clinicians are registered through Medicare at this time.
What NDIS services do you offer?
We currently offer ‘Social Work’ services through the NDIS under the current NDIS Price Guide. We are also able to provide a report after completing a Biopsychosocial Assessment to help you with your NDIS application. More information on this can be found under the ‘Services’ tab and ‘Mental Health Services’.
Are you a bulk bill service?
Dixie and Thyme Counselling is not a bulk bill service.
How long will I be on a waitlist for?
Like all health services, waitlists can be unpredictable. At the time of receiving your referral, we will do our best to give you an approximate wait time. You are welcome to check-in periodically for an update on your position on the waitlist if you have not heard from us.
